Hungry Valley General Plan Update + Environmental Impact Report

Thank you to those who provided comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Hungry Valley SVRA General Plan Update. Your input on the environmental planning process is appreciated.

State Parks has published the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), including response to public comments, and the revised Draft General Plan Update. The Final EIR and Draft General Plan Update are available under ‘Documents and Resources’ on the right-hand side of this page.

The Final EIR and Draft General Plan Update will be considered for certification and adoption by the Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting on February 26, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the following location:

Canyon Country Community Center, 18410 Sierra Hwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91351

In addition to the in-person meeting, a virtual hearing will be held via Zoom. Members of the public can comment on specific agenda items via Zoom, by phone, or in person. A complete meeting agenda and a link to register to speak at the virtual hearing will be available on the Commission webpage at least ten days before the meeting.
